Ceramic Coating

Durable, High-Heat Ceramic Coating Solutions

IMPORTANT!  Ceramic coatings require a break-in procedure.  Learn about it here.

Ceramic coating is a high-performance coating solution designed for components exposed to extreme heat. Ceramic, thermal barrier, heat-transfer, and dry-film lubrication coatings are ideal for parts that reach temperatures up to 2000°F.

These coatings are commonly recommended for high-heat components such as exhaust manifolds, headers, turbo housings, and other performance-driven parts.

For components that do not require extreme thermal protection, our
powder coating services
provide a durable and cost-effective finishing solution.

How Does Ceramic Coating Benefit Your Parts?

High-temperature ceramic coatings are designed to improve the performance and longevity of exhaust and heat-exposed components. These coatings provide corrosion resistance, increase durability, and deliver effective thermal insulation.

Ceramic coating acts as a thermal barrier by reducing under-hood temperatures. By limiting heat transfer, ceramic coatings can improve performance efficiency and help increase horsepower while protecting surrounding components from excessive heat.

Advanced Ceramic Coating Performance

Ceramic coatings are durable, ceramic-reinforced finishes available in a variety of colors. When properly applied, they form one of the most effective thermal barrier coatings available.

These coatings have been tested at temperatures exceeding 2000°F without lifting, cracking, or flaking. Unlike exhaust wraps, ceramic coatings do not trap heat or moisture against the component. Instead, surface temperatures are reduced, extending component life.

Once cured, ceramic coatings form a corrosion-inhibiting film that protects against oxidation and provides excellent chemical resistance, further extending part life while enhancing appearance.

Ceramic Coating Applications

Ceramic coating is commonly used on:

  • Exhaust manifolds and headers
  • Turbo housings and exhaust components
  • High-heat performance parts
  • Components requiring thermal barrier protection

Ceramic Coating Turnaround Time

The typical turnaround time for ceramic coating projects averages 1 to 2 weeks once the parts arrive at our facility. Actual turnaround time may vary depending on workload and part condition.

Please note that additional charges may apply for parts that are currently chrome-plated.
