High Heat Powder Coating

Durable Powder Coatings Built to Perform Under Elevated Temperatures

Our High Heat Powder Coating solutions provide excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance, along with long-lasting color retention, across a wide range of colors and formulations. These powder-based coatings are engineered to maintain both aesthetic appeal and protective performance during long-term exposure to elevated temperatures.

Because of their durability and ease of maintenance, Bonehead Performance Coatings’ high-heat powder coatings are a functional and visually appealing solution for parts, appliances, and equipment that operate in high-temperature environments.

Applications

High heat powder coatings are commonly used on components such as:

  • Wood and gas stoves
  • Pellet stoves
  • Stove pipes
  • Fireplaces
  • Fire pits
  • BBQ grills
  • Heating appliances
  • Select exhaust system components

Each application is evaluated to ensure the appropriate coating formulation and curing process are used.

Key Benefits of High Heat Powder Coating

  • Excellent adhesion to properly prepared metal surfaces
  • Superior resistance to delamination under thermal cycling
  • Long-term corrosion protection
  • Outstanding weathering and environmental resistance

Surface Preparation & Coating Process

Proper surface preparation is essential for high-heat powder coating performance. All parts must be thoroughly cleaned and stripped of existing coatings, corrosion, and contaminants prior to coating.

Depending on the application, surface preparation may include sandblasting or other mechanical methods to ensure optimal adhesion.

Turnaround Time & Shipping

Turnaround time varies based on part condition, coating formulation, and current workload. Most high-heat powder coating projects are completed within one to two weeks once parts arrive at our facility.

We accept parts shipped from across the United States. Transit time is separate from coating time, and all parts must be fully disassembled prior to shipment.
